8Th Grade Girls Visit Highlands for Pilot Project

The 8th graders from West Las Vegas Partnership School were on campus Oct. 3 as part of the Las Vegas, New Mexico chapter of the American Association of University Women’s pilot project University/College Adventure Network (UCAN). The project aims to introduce girls to the college experience. The students also participated in a media arts workshop with media arts professor Kerry Loewen and met with student ambassadors from the Recruitment Office.
