New Mexico Highlands University provides numerous free services through its Career Services Office to assist employers in their recruiting efforts for all academic departments. Our career fairs do require registration fees. Thank your for considering NMHU students and graduates for your hiring needs. Career Services customizes your recruiting experience to your needs whether you want to post a job or visit campus to conduct interviews or information sessions. Highlands University is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and follows its Principles of Professional Conduct with regard to career development and employment practices.

This annual event will host a variety of employers/agencies to meet with NMHU students about internships, summer jobs and research programs, career opportunities and graduate school programs.

Spring Career and Educator’s Job Fair

10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
This annual event will host over 30 employers to share information and conduct interviews for full-time career positions and summer job/internship opportunities available in a variety of fields including education, business, all sciences, social sciences and liberal arts.

On-Campus Interviewing
Conference Rooms are available to conduct your interviews on campus. We will work with you to scheduling the best times and dates for interviewing on campus. Call our office (505)454-3048.
Employer Information Sessions
We will schedule your career information sessions in available rooms, actual classes, and/or information tables set up in student traffic areas on campus. This provides an ideal opportunity to promote your employment programs to larger groups of students.
Faculty Connections
Our office will be glad to schedule meetings for you with faculty to promote your internship and career opportunities. Faculty is the key to promoting and enhancing your opportunities to students.
