General Motors Endowment Scholarship
Qualifications: Undergraduate, full time students. Preference is given to dependents of GM employees, women and minorities.
Amount: $1200 per year.
Eligibility criteria: 3.0 cumulative GPA (postsecondary coursework).
Renewal criteria: 12 credit hours per semester with a 3.0 GPA.
Deadlines & Application: May 1, Highlands Scholarship Application.
Presidential Scholarship
Qualifications: Undergraduate, full time
Amount: $1200 per year.
Eligibility Criteria: 3.0 cumulative GPA (postsecondary coursework).
Renewal Criteria: 12 credit hours per semester with a 3.0 GPA
Deadlines & Application: May 1, Highlands Scholarship Application.
Legislative Endowment Scholarship
Qualifications: Undergraduate, full time; New Mexico resident
Amount: $1000 to $1250 per year.
Eligibility Criteria: 3.0 cumulative GPA (postsecondary coursework).
Renewal Criteria: 12 credit hours per semester with a 3.0 GPA or 3.5 GPA (Plus).
Deadlines & Application: May 1, Highlands Scholarship Application.
Graduate Presidential Scholarship
Qualifications: Graduate student in a master’s program, full time (9 credit hours)
Amount: $1500 per year
Eligibility Criteria: 3.0 cumulative GPA (postsecondary coursework).
Renewal Criteria: 9 credit hours per semester with a 3.0 GPA renewable for 4 semesters.
Deadlines & Application: May 1, Highlands Scholarship Application.
Competitive Out of State Scholarship
Qualifications: Out of state undergraduate transfer students.
Amount: Out of state tuition rates are reduced to in state rates and $200 book stipend per year.
Eligibility Criteria: 3.5 HS GPA and 20 ACT or 3.0 HS GPA and 23 ACT or transfer GPA of 3.50 (cumulative).
Renewal Criteria: Up to eight semesters undergraduate with 12 credit hours and 3.0 GPA per semester.
Deadlines & Application: May 1, Highlands Scholarship Application and all transfer transcripts.
