Summer Housing Rates

Living in university housing gives you time for study and recreation. Combine that with a meal plan, and you’ll be able to focus on the reasons you came to Highlands.

*Note 1: If you are registered for a 2 week or 3 week intersession class and are in need of housing, please bring proof of registration to the Housing and Student Conduct Office for rate information and housing availability.
*Note 2:  If you require housing before the summer sessions begins and after the summer sessions end, you will be billed accordingly for the week(s).

*  Meal plans are required for all students living in the residence halls except for the periods of May 14-June 5 and July 30-August 20, when the dining hall is closed.  Campus Apartment residents are not required to purchase a meal plan.

Contract Cancellation


Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Housing & Student Conduct Office prior to contract commencement.  Students will forfeit the refundable $100 portion of the application fee if they fail to comply with any cancellation policy.  The office of Housing and Student Conduct must receive the appropriate paperwork for a complete school withdrawal and the student must meet with a resident assistant or resident director immediately for check out.  The student’s charges will be prorated for the amount of time they occupied the residence hall/apartment.  Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of the housing application and contract for additional cancellation details
