NCA Self-Study

In preparation for the Fall, 2009 Accreditation Visit of the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association (NCA) of Colleges and Schools

New Mexico Highlands University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and University. For more on Highlands’ affiliation with the HLC please visit the HLC at www.ncahlc.org

As part of the accreditation process we are currently conducting a Self-Study of the university in preparation for a visit by the HLC currently scheduled for the fall of 2009. We would like to encourage all members of the NMHU community to participate in the Self-Study process. You can share with us your ideas about Highlands by emailing the Self-Study Committee at ncaselfstudy@nmhu.edu . There will also be a number of open meetings and other opportunities for public input over the next two years. Please visit this site for information about those opportunities.
