Out-of-State Scholarships

 

Competitive Out-of-State Scholarship

Qualifications: Out-of-state undergraduate first time freshmen; International undergraduate or graduate.
Amount: Out-of-state tuition rates are reduced to in state rates and $200 book stipend per year.
Eligibility Criteria: 3.5 HS GPA and 20 ACT or 3.0 HS GPA and 23 ACT.
Renewal Criteria: Up to eight semesters undergraduate with 12 credit hours and 3.0 GPA per semester.
Deadlines & Application: admission process complete by March 1.

Success in New Mexico

Qualifications: Out-of-state undergraduate first time freshmen.
Amount: Difference between out of state tuition rate and in-state tuition rate.
Eligibility Criteria: minimum 3.0 HS GPA.
Renewal Criteria: Up to eight semesters undergraduate with 12 credit hours and 3.0 GPA per semester.
Deadlines & Application: admission process complete by March 1.

Opportunity Grant

Qualifications: Out-of-state undergraduate first-time freshmen.
Amount: Fall semester tuition only.
Eligibility Criteria: minimum 2.5 to 2.99 HS GPA.
Renewal Criteria: non-renewable.
Deadlines & Application: admission process complete by March 1.
