ALL EXAMINEES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS

Be at least 16 years of age or older, get an “Underage Permission Form” and get required signatures Prior to testing (if under 18.)

Bring 2 identification cards to every test session. Acceptable ID’s include a state issued driver’s license or non-driver’s ID, SS card, a military ID, or a passport. The ID must be government-issued.

Provide a receipt from New Mexico Highlands University-Raton showing proof of payment.

Each test costs $20 each. Or $65 if you need to take the full exam.

Examinees can pay with a cashier’s check, or with a money order. Absolutely no personal checks or cash. The Highlands University Raton Site is open Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. to56 p.m.. Payment will only be accepted at the Highlands University Raton Site. Registration is limited to five examinees and must be completed on the Thursday prior to taking the examinations.

Examinees must plan to take the exam on the date that they are scheduled. Otherwise the fee is forfeited.

Arrive early! Once the door to the testing room closes, there will be no admittance. No exceptions!

Do not bring cell phones, pagers, purses etc. to the testing center. The items will be collected at the door and stored at your own risk!

In order to receive a diploma, all examinees are required to pre-register at www.DiplomaSender.com after taking the GED exam. The first diploma is free. You can also request transcripts from diploma sender, but please check your scores and if you passed then request transcripts. There is a fee for the transcripts.
