New Mexico Highlands University will be hosting GED examinations at various locations throughout the year. The list below displays the location and date of each scheduled exam. Contact the staff at the location of the test to ensure proper registration. Examinees testing at the Las Vegas campus should arrive at the Felix Martinez building atrium by 8:20 a.m..

Las Vegas Campus registration instructions

Examinees must pay for their exams prior to registering. Remit payment to the NMHU Business Office located in Rodgers' Administration Building, Second Floor (the cage). The cost of the test is $65.00 and $20.00 per test for retesting.  Students must register at the Office of Academic Support. Examinees will need to register online using GED Wizard in the Office of Academic Support. Examinees must present proof of payment, and two forms of ID to register. One ID must be a government issued ID (driver's license, State ID, Passport, or military ID. You must be 16 years old to take the test. Anyone under the age of 18 must first pick up and Underage Permission Form from the Office of Academic Support and have it completed prior to registration. The last day to register is the Monday prior to the test. Testing will commence no later than 8:30 a.m. each day. Examinees should arrive at the test center no later than 8:20 a.m.

Last day to register is the Friday prior to the start date of the exam.
