Proposed Sole Source Purchases

The Proposed Sole Source Purchases page provides current information about proposed Sole Source purchases by New Mexico Highlands University in accordance with §13-1-126 N.M.S.A. 1978. Any potential vendor who does not agree that a listed product and/or service is available only from the proposed supplier must file an official written protest with the Highlands University Purchasing Department. Your written protest must clearly identify which proposed Sole Source you disagree with and a detailed description of the product and/or service you are offering as an equivalent. A written protest is to be submitted to Michael Saavedra, Director of Purchasing, at:

The protest must be received within 30 days of the posting of the Sole Source. A determination of action will be made by Highlands University and in accordance with the Procurement Code, §13-1-28 N.M.S.A. 1978.
