New Mexico Highlands University Farmington Center
The School of Social Work has been offering the BSW and MSW programs in Farmington, New Mexico
and the Four Corners Region for over ten years.
Our program, and its course offerings, were developed with the working student in mind, and is geared to
accommodate the traditional and non-traditional student. Our course offerings and class schedule allow
students to attend either on a full or part-time basis. Most classes are offered during the late afternoon,
evenings, and Saturday.
The faculty is comprised of three full-time professors, and several adjunct professors. All adjunct faculty
members are Master level social work educators and practicing clinicians within our immediate and surrounding
communities.
We contract with several social work service supporting agencies that provide our students with diverse
and culturally sensitive field practicum experiences in New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and Utah, as well as
several placements on the Navajo, Jicarilla and Ute reservations. |
