Call for Submissions
Picayune Literary Magazine accepts submissions in the follow genres: fiction (short or flash), poetry, black and white photography, and original black-line art. The annual submission period is September 15 to December 15.
Please allow up to three months for notification. Payment is one contributor copy.
Picayune Literary Magazine reserves First North American Serial Rights [FNASR]; please cite PLM if the work is re-published in another venue. We do accept simultaneous submissions, however, notify us immediately if the work is accepted elsewhere. No previously published material is accepted.
Submit materials as an E-mail attachment to picayunemagazine@yahoo.com . Include the genre of the submission in the subject line of the message. We do not accept hardcopy submissions.
Short Fiction: Submit one piece of fiction limited to 2,500 words.
Flash Fiction: One submission of no more than 250 words.
Poetry: Send no more than five poems in any style or verse.
Art/Photography: Black and white photos or black-line art only.
