Elluminate Instructions

Online Tutoring Instructions

To utilize our online tutoring services, you need to make an appointment at least 24 hours in advance.  The best way to do this is to call us at 505.454.3175.  You can also email us at llc@nmhu.edu.

At the time of your appointment (or 15 minutes earlier), you will be able to enter the Elluminate chat room by clicking here or by pointing your browser to http://elm.elluminate.com/NEWMEXICOHIGHLANDSUNIVERSITY/

Click on the blue link that says “LLC Tutoring Session.”

Log in as a guest.

Enter your email address and the name you wish to be displayed.

Click on “Manually Start Session.” (Attention: you need Elluminate system requirements and Java to get to this page).

Enter the chat room.

Please have any activities you wish to work on open on your desktop to allow sharing.

If this is your first online tutoring session, we recommend that you arrive 15 minutes early to allow for time to troubleshoot problems.
