Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Concentration in Music Education (BA)

Required Core: 41 credit hours
Music education majors must choose a minor in secondary education through the School of Education. Students begin integration between music and education minor as early as their sophomore year. Students choose a primary area of study in voice and/or instrumental areas. It is highly recommended that music education students regularly consult with advisers in both music and education. The music education degree is a five-year program that conforms to the state requirements for licensure.
