Margaret A. Young, Ph.D. is the dean of the School of Business Administration and professor of marketing at New Mexico Highlands University, and teaches research methods. Her research interests include environmental concern and rural sustainability. She has worked as a project manager for various research projects over the last several years. Most recently she managed the Mechanical-Biological Treatment Project, a project that analyzed potential uses of municipal waste streams in rural areas. She holds a master’s degree in economics, and a Ph.D. in business administration, with a concentration in Marketing, from New Mexico State University. She belongs to the American Marketing Association and serves on the marketing committee for ACBSP, Highlands University business accreditation council, and provides professional marketing consulting to community organizations. She has taught at Highlands University since 1993.
