School of Business, Media and Technology

New Mexico Highlands University announces a new initiative that brings together three interrelated organizations under one roof.  The former School of Business Administration, a professional school, which houses the Bachelor of Software Driven Systems Design (BSSD) Program, has merged with the Department of Media Arts to form the School of Business, Media and Technology.  This merger is to formally acknowledges the important interrelationships and facilitates coordination and increased collaboration between all three disciplines.

During the last several years, the increased need for managing technological change as it relates to business, media and technology, as well as a heightened need for professional networking opportunities, led to the conclusion that by combining under one roof, we can better find and take advantage of such opportunities for our very talented students.  Students in any of our disciplines will work with professionally qualified faculty and have ample opportunities for internships that provide real-world experiences.

While all degrees and concentrations remain distinct, we look forward to increased program collaboration in the future.  Below please find information specific to each discipline area.
