Elder Mediation: Resolving Family Conflict

Nancy Oriola 2.5 CEUs
Families sometimes find themselves in disagreement when determining the next best steps for an aging loved one. Holding a facilitated “family meeting” can help get everyone back on track and moving forward. This workshop will present strategies on dealing with issues of conflict, making long term care decisions, financial decisions, safety versus autonomy, promoting communication amongst family members, dealing with geriatric care managers and individual conflict coaching.
