This workshop will offer a brief overview of the differences between therapeutic art making and art therapy. The presenter will talk about ways to use art materials with children and will introduce five art-based interventions that can be used by practitioners. Developmental factors to consider when working with children and what interventions and materials are appropriate to use will be discussed.
