Managing Conflict in Organizational Settings

Managing Conflict in Organizational Settings

Robert Schout, LMSW

5.5 CEUs

As social work and counseling professionals, we are used to helping clients manage conflicts within their family and community systems, but we are often stymied when it comes to managing conflicts within our own organizations and within our interactions with colleagues. During this interactive workshop, participants will learn about the four main sources of conflict: 1) within themselves as professionals, 2) within colleague interactions, 3) within teams and program units, and 4) within the organization itself.
