E-Billing
In an effort to increase our internal efficiency and reduce cost, the business office will be offering a new service to our students at New Mexico Highlands University. Electronic billing (E-bills) will be implemented in March 2009. Implementation of electronic billing will aid in the decrease of mail allowing us to save time, resources and become more environmentally friendly.
Students will receive an e-mail via their Highlands e-mail address, when they have a statement for review. The link on the e-mail will take students directly to the secure area on the Highlands Web site. After logging into Banner (My NMHU), students will be able to view their online statement. We will be e-mailing out our statements bimonthly while our students become accustomed to this new service.
Students are notified via their NMHU e-mail when they have a reimbursement available for pick-up at our Highlands Cashier’s Office.
Payments can be made through the Highlands Web site by selecting the MY NMHU link with a credit or debit card. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard or Discover. Payment can also be made with a checking or savings account.
All of these uses of technology will enable us to provide better, faster service to our students.
