Alumni Office Honors Veterans With Nov. 11 Ceremony, Reception

New Mexico Highlands’ coordinator of alumni affairs, Jim Mandarino, talks about the history of military service by students and alumni during a Veterans’ Day observance Nov. 11 at the university’s Centennial Tower. The ceremony honored two veterans from Highlands University: legendary World War II Navajo Code Talker Allen Dale June and recent Medal of Honor recipient Staff Sergeant First Class Leroy Petry.
