NMHU Alumni

On behalf of everyone at New Mexico Highlands University, I wish you a great holiday season. As 2008 draws to a close, I’m thinking of all the great things that happened on our campus and centers this year. The look of the main campus is quickly changing with the addition of a new apartment-style residence hall and the remodeling of the Lora M. Shields Science Annex. We also opened the doors to a new center in Raton, New Mexico, and social work programs in Albuquerque. Our enrollment continues to increase and the university, while preparing for a decrease in state funding, is financially sound.
As we look forward to a new year, we hope all of our alumni and friends can take some time to visit their alma mater and see first hand the wonderful things happening at New Mexico Highlands. I’m quite sure you will be impressed with our new generation of students who will proudly carry New Mexico Highlands’ name into the future.
Soon, the Alumni Association and New Mexico Highlands University will be starting our annual fund drive. I encourage you to consider this great investment in our future. The New Mexico Highlands Foundation really does make dreams come true through scholarships to deserving students.
