Art Auction to Promote Student Success

LAS VEGAS, NM – Selected artwork from the New Mexico Highlands Foundation art collection will be available for bid in an online auction Dec. 4 – 15.

The auction includes works by Marc Chagall and Joan Miró to fashion prints from Harper’s Bazaar magazine and limited-edition stamp prints. Prints by Willard Clark, a Santa Fe printmaker will also be included.

“There are unique prints and artworks that would make a nice addition to any collection,” said Renée Buchanan,” Highlands’ art curator and archivist. “The price range will be anywhere from $50 to $1,500.”

“This is a rare opportunity to acquire some wonderful works of art from the Foundation collection while helping students succeed,” said Theresa Law, Highlands vice president for advancement and executive director of the Highlands Foundation.
