How Do I Apply
Students in 9th, 10th and 11th grades are recruited throughout the calendar year, as slots are available at their high school. Speak with you guidance counselor or call (505) 454 – 3468. Students must submit an Upward Bound application, high school transcript and a copy of the parent(s) or guardian(s) most recent signed federal income tax return. The program follows all federal guidelines and regulations.
All Applicants must be:
- First generation
- Low Income
Upward Bound staff member will make a school visit to meet with school counselor and participants to explain program eligibility, incentives, program rules and regulations in further detail.
