Teacher Education Recruitment Policy


Recruitment Policy 

Bachelor of Arts in Teaching. Interested individuals who have obtained a high school diploma, GED, or an Associates of Arts (AA) degree from a community college are encouraged to study teacher education.  Teaching disciplines include Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, and Secondary Education. Students who are interested in teaching in the secondary schools must have a content major. College graduates with a BA degree who are interested in obtaining teaching licensure are encouraged to also apply for admission into the Department of Teacher Education.
