The Office of Career Services offers programs and services to help all University students identify, strategize and achieve their career aspirations. These career planning, experiential education and job search strategies are also offered to alumni for a minimal fee.
Your career doesn't start when you leave school -- you can begin exploring your options and planning your future now. Use the Career Services and Placement website to explore your options, from determining your interests and deciding on a major to finding jobs related to your field.
Credential filing services are available to currently enrolled seniors and graduate students in their final semester. Highland's students can receive these filing services free of charge for the first year. Alumni may register or reinstate a file for a $25 annual fee. Graduates from other universities may register and receive the same benefits as NMHU graduates for a $50 annual fee. To set up a credential file come by the Felix Martinez Building Room 108.
The New Mexico Highlands University Career Services Program for Cooperative Education & Internships Program links employers who wish to recruit university students for cooperative education (co-op) positions, and internships with the students who seek these opportunities. These undergraduate employment programs often give employers early access to top candidates for full time positions. |
