On June 3rd ITS performed a required update to Brightspace.  Functionality remains largely the same, however, the look-and-feel and some features are slightly different.

Brightspace is the same learning management system that students and faculty are already familiar with, just under a different name.  The company D2L changed the name of its learning management system in 2014.
