The Center for Advocacy, Resources, Education, & Support invites you to join NMHU Psychology Professor Dr. David Pan’s discussion about how pop culture including media, movies, TV, & news often misrepresents mental illness. This inaccurate or poor depiction unfortunately can contribute to an overall misunderstanding or flawed view of those living with a mental illness. He will talking about these trends and much more. All are welcome to join, and following his presentation Cinfelix at Ilfeld will be featuring the film “GONE GIRL” rated R. After the movie he is open to questions and comments.
