Out of State Scholarships

Competitive Out-of-State Scholarship

Qualifications: Out-of-state undergraduate first time freshmen; International undergraduate or graduate.
Amount: Out-of-state tuition rates are reduced to in-state rates and $200 book stipend per year.
Eligibility Criteria: 3.5 HS GPA and 20 ACT or 3.0 HS GPA and 23 ACT.
Renewal Criteria: Up to eight semesters undergraduate with 12 credit hours and 3.0 GPA per semester.
Deadlines & Application: March 1st Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and NMHU Scholarship Application; admission application by March 1st; complete FA file by April 15.
