This series of sculptures are aimed at referencing some of the collectibles that you might find at a roadside gift shop, rest station, or even truck stop.  The concept behind this series is that, unlike the objects which they reference, they are meant to serve as reminders of the things that you would intentionally forget about a place or region.  The inspiration for this series is based on my observations from road trips out here in the west and the contrasts in the landscape between the natural and the manmade.
