I like to describe my work as rough and holy.  Rough and Holy are theater terms describing certain kinds of theatrical presentation; think of the traveling players in Shakesperean plays, or circus performers, or current rock and roll musicians.  From my floor installation piece, a gang of hundreds of dog toys, to a single dog toy cast in iron, they are rough and holy.
