LaserSpectacular Show Coming to Ilfeld Auditorium Oct. 10

Paramount’s original LaserSpectacular featuring the music of Pink Floyd will be shown for the first time locally at Highlands University’s historic Ilfeld Auditorium Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m.Tickets are on sale now at the university’s radio station KEDP 91.1 FM at 901 University Ave.  or call 505-454-3238. The price is $15 for general admission and $12 for local students with a valid I.D.   The first half of the two-hour 3D laser show features Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” and the second half features the best of Pink Floyd, including, “The Wall.””This is the first time we’ve ever had a laser light show in Ilfeld auditorium and it’s a wonderful opportunity for our students and the community to also hear the great classic music of Pink Floyd,” said Donna Martinez, manager for Ilfeld Auditorium and KEDP Radio.  “This is a colorful and exciting event and will probably sell out so get your tickets early.”Martinez said the Oct. 10 laser show is just part of “Think Pink Floyd” month in October at Highlands.  Also on tap are two free movies:  “Pink Floyd in Wonderland” Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m. and just in time for Halloween, “Dark Side of Oz” Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m.  Both movies will be shown in Ilfeld Auditorium.For more information, check out the Highlands Web site link about “Think Pink Floyd” month at  www.nmhu.edu/pink
