Interlibrary Loan Request Form for Articles
Contact the Interlibrary Loan Department: 505.454.3337 Rio Rancho Contact: 505.891.6914 New Mexico Highlands University faculty, students, alumni, staff and courtesy card holders can obtain material not available at the Donnelly Library. If you need books or articles that Donnelly Library does not have, the Interlibrary Loan Department will attempt to borrow it from another library. You must be a registered user in good standing to be eligible for this service.
Before you place a request, please check the library's

Full-Text Electronic Journals.
If the NMHU Library does not own the journal you need, fill in the following information in the space below.
Submit one form per request - Limit: 10 requests per week
NOTE: There is no way to pin-point an exact arrival date. If an item arrives too late for you to use, you are still responsible for any and all charges. All free locations are contacted first. If charges are connected with borrowing, you will be notified before the item is ordered so you may decide if you want the item or not. Materials with charges are never ordered without first consulting the patron.
Notice: Warning concerning Copyright restrictions
The copyright law of the U.S. (title 17, U.S. Code) governs the making of reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other production. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order could involve violation of copyright laws.
