Ray Drew Gallery Exhibits
  The gallery is located on the first floor and is open 8:00 - 5:00 Monday-Friday, and 1:00-5:00 Saturday and Sunday.

We will have an artist’s reception on Friday, June 4, 2010 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. D. Chase Keightley mostly works in watercolor.

Henry Beisman, Civil Engineer
The descendents of Henry Beisman, local surveyor have donated a collection of his maps and equipment.  Some are highlighted here.   Come to the Grand Opening on Aug. 13th at 2:00 to see more!

Collections of India
 The architecture of India is rooted in its history, culture, and religion. Indian architecture progressed with time and assimilated the many influences that came as a result of India’s global discourse with other regions of the world throughout its millennia-old past.

  April 12 - June 12 Sexual Assault Awareness Month
The NMHU Campus Violence Prevention Program (CVPP) has created a display in the library showcasing how common sexual assault is. CVPP and the Women’s Center is working to bring awareness to sexual assault and other issues of violence against women such as domestic and dating violence and stalking. If you or someone you know needs more information please contact CVPP at 454-3445.

Supported by a Department of Education HSI/CCRAA grant, the ARMAS Center provides support services to faculty and students in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics disciplines.
  Sept. 1 - Oct. 5 Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month - Hispanic Heritage Month is the period to recognize the contributions of Hispanic Americans to the United States and to celebrate Hispanic heritage and culture.
  Aug. 1 - Sept. 15 Yoga— the body between science and philosophy - East Library Entrance Exhibit Case.  Are you suffering from Stress? Take a Yoga Class. Yoga is a 5,000 year old health maintenance system. 
  June 1 - Aug. 1  Traditional Indian Dress and Jewelry” - India is known for its rich culture and unique people. Come to enjoy the ethnic and traditional Indian dress and jewelry. The traditional Indian dresses are provided by the Indian students at Highlands University.
