Mark Your Calendars for Homecoming September 18 – 27

Las Vegas, N.M – Mark your calendars for Highlands University’s Homecoming 2015, with the Paint the Town Purple festivities kicking off Sept. 18 and continuing through Sept. 27.

Some highlights include the Sept. 26 homecoming parade at 10 a.m. and homecoming football game at 1 p.m. with the Cowboys taking on Fort Lewis College.

New this year is an alumni celebration Sept. 25 at the Plaza Hotel Ballroom from 6 – 8 p.m. There will be hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Tickets are free, but you must RSVP by Sept. 18 either online at nmhualumni.org/2015-homecoming-celebration-rsvps/, via email to jesalman@nmhu.edu, or by calling 505-454-3248. Alumni can pick up tickets the week of homecoming in the Alumni Office. Tickets at the door are $10.

Alumni may also pick up the new Cowboy Card during homecoming week at the Alumni Office. It’s filled with discounts to local businesses.

Another addition to homecoming this year is Parent’s Day, a fun day of activities Sept. 26 in Melody Park hosted by the Housing & Student Conduct Office.
