July 2 Deadline for Sigma Xi Student Research Grant Applications

Las Vegas, N.M. – The New Mexico Highlands University Sigma Xi chapter is offering research grants to undergraduate and graduate students. The deadline to apply is July 2.
The goal of the grant program is to encourage and support student scientific investigation in any field of study. Since the Highlands University Sigma Xi chapter established the Student Research Fund in 2006, approximately 60 students have received funding for their research.
To be eligible, students must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program; undergraduates who are near graduation must plan to complete their research prior to graduation; the grants are open to both U.S. citizens and international students; and membership in Sigma Xi is not required.
