December 5 Protocols/Forms

You must send all protocols requiring SRC approval with A & B forms and an outline of the research plan BEFORE experimentation begins.
No need to send to regional office if no special forms are required.


January 9
Deadline for ISEF Forms that required prior approval on December 5.

February 7
Last day for local School Fairs.

February 13 Deadline
Deadline for Official Entry Forms absolutely no exceptions!!
You must send all Protocols with Official Entry Form and $15.00 per student entry fee. All entry fees are nonrefundable.

March 7
Northeastern New Mexico Regional Science & Engineering Fair,
New Mexico Highlands University, Las Vegas, New Mexico.

March 27-28
New Mexico State Science & Engineering Fair, New Mexico Tech, Socorro, New Mexico.

May 10 -15
Intel International Science & Engineering Fair, Pittsburgh, PA.

Scientific Research Paper Competition
For Grades 6 through 12
Sponsored by the New Mexico Academy of Science

The Junior Academy of Science promotes student research and participation in science fairs with a scientific paper competition. This competition provides students with unique opportunities to learn a crucial part of scientific work: communicating their work to others. The competitions are held in conjunction with Regional and State Science and Engineering Fairs. Winners in regional competition qualify for the state competition. Monetary prizes are awarded at regional and state levels. Top ranking Senior Division students qualify to travel as New Mexico state delegates to the national meeting of the American Junior Academy of Science. Information at http://www.nmas.org/junior.html
