New Mexico Highlands University has responded to numerous requests to expand educational opportunities in Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Roswell, Espanola, Farmington, and Raton, among other places by implementing courses that can lead to degree completion programs addressing the needs of residents, businesses, and schools in these communities. Highlands' External Academic Program is a response to these requests and is providing programs in business, education and social work.
A four-year degree will give you a decided advantage in today's highly competitive job market. Results from national studies indicate that a bachelor's degree leads to substantially increased earning potential and career advancement.
Here's how it works:
If you decide to pursue a bachelor's degree through Highlands, you can complete the first two years of coursework at either Northern New Mexico Community College, Santa Fe Community College, or San Juan College, with your remaining coursework completed through Highlands at these sites. There are some degree programs requiring a final year at the Highlands Las Vegas campus. However, for most of our programs, you'll never have to move from your present campus to attain your bachelor's degree.
Why is this a great option for you?
EXCELLENCE
