New Mexico Highlands is offering early online registration for summer semester 2018.
“It’s exciting to give our current and prospective Highlands students a big head start on summer registration,” said Thomasinia Ortiz-Gallegos, the Highlands registrar. “What I like about online registration is the convenience for our students wherever they might be. Early registration helps students plan and prepare for completing their academic career at Highlands.”
Current and prospective Highlands students may search for summer semester classes online at www.nmhu.edu by clicking on the current students box link and then the class schedules link on the left side of the screen.
“Current students may register from the front page of our Highlands website at www.nmhu.edu by clicking first on the MY NMHU link and then entering the secure area,” Ortiz-Gallegos said.
She said the dedicated staff at the Highlands Office of the Registrar is standing by to help with registration and any concerns students might have.

“In addition, staff at each of the Highlands locations statewide in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Farmington and Roswell are also available to help with registration. Use the centers link on the front page of the Highlands website for contact information,” Ortiz-Gallegos said.
Prospective Highlands students must apply for admissions first before registering for classes. The admissions application is also available online by using the future students box link on the front page of the Highlands website at www.nmhu.edu and then clicking on apply.
