Classes at the Museum of Natural History and Science

Emergence display at New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science

Do you think all classrooms are a row of desks facing a Smartboard? Do you think you have to wait to get great experience and an excellent portfolio? Think again! New Mexico Highlands’ Media Arts Program started an exciting partnership with the Museum of Natural History and Science to offer courses on location at the museum in Albuquerque.

Now you can get hands-on courses in mobile application development, game development, physical computing, web applications, and 3D designing and printing while working on real-world exhibits at the museum. (Check out who’s teaching the courses)

New Mexico Highlands’ media arts students are making names for themselves in museums around the state like the National Hispanic Cultural Center, Bradbury Science Museum, New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science, Roswell Museum and Art Center, Museum of Art Governor’s Gallery, and the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture. Now you can join them in this amazing opportunity. (Check out the Emergence of Life display  – pictured above –  at the Museum of Natural History and Science; our students created it!)

Classes are limited and start Aug. 27, so contact us today (and take advantage of our low fall tuition).  Call 505.454.3588.
