The Bridging Cultures Bookshelf: Muslim Journeys is a project of the National Endowment for the Humanities, conducted in cooperation with the American Library Association. Support was provided by a grant from Carnegie Corporation of New York. Additional support for the arts and media components was provided by the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art.
Inspired by Revolution
The Inspired by Revolution reading group will explore the Revolutionary War and the tumultuous early years of the new republic. The program is free and open to the public.
Books for the reading program are available at Donnelly Library, 802 National Ave. All discussions will begin at 7 p.m. in the library.

New Mexico’s African American Legacy- Las Vegas This exhibit is Thomas C. Donnelly Library’s contribution to the traveling exhibit titled New Mexico’s African American Legacy – Visible, Vital and Valuable created by The African American Museum and Cultural Center of New Mexico. The exhibit features pictures and narrative documenting the history of African American’s in Las Vegas, NM which enriches the overall understanding of the African American Legacy in New Mexico. |
