In order to keep the Highlands community informed about ongoing accreditation activities, we will be hosting a few institution-wide forums each year. The most recent HLC Forum was held on October 30, 2018. This forum provided an overview of the preparation process for the Focused Visit that will take place some time in 2019-20. The Focused Visit basically consists of a team of peer reviewers sent by the Higher Learning Commission to determine whether the university has met the areas of concern specified by the HLC. We will be hosting three HLC Forums in spring 2019. Each forum will focus on one of the three areas of concern specified by the HLC. These forums are held in the SUB ballroom and are open to all university employees. We encourage you to attend! More details on specific dates and topics will be forthcoming.
