College of Arts and Sciences

NMHU’s College of Arts and Sciences provides education in the arts, humanities, social, and natural sciences. We offer an exciting array of 21 bachelor of arts and 10 bachelor of sciences degrees to fit your interests.

Whatever your plans and dreams, you can make them happen at Highlands. We educate future artists, political and social leaders, and scientists from diverse backgrounds. Our faculty are accomplished scholars, scientists and artists who give you experience in real-world, hands-on research, scholarships and creative works.

You will be supported by professors who are finding solutions to increasing medical, social, and political problems. Our faculty members are creating new techniques and concepts in the arts and humanities. They serve professional, governmental, and charitable organizations to communities not only in the local Southwestern region, but nationally and internationally.

At New Mexico Highlands University, you will be able to take advantage of your immersion in Southwestern and New Mexican cultures, arts, and natural systems for education, research, and service.
