Faculty Academic Calendar


Faculty contractual obligations for the Academic Year 2017-18 begin on August 7, 2017, and end on May 15, 2018.  Please be reminded that attendance at Professional Development and Orientation Week activities and Commencement is mandatory.

During periods when classes are not in session, but the University is open, faculty are not required to keep office hours but must be available and must provide contact information to their department as to where they may be reached during this time for department/college/school meetings, committee meetings, etc.

September 4 Labor Day (university closed)
October 9-10 Classes not in session (Fall break)
