Polisci-Fi and Discuss – Discussion Series

Polisci-Fi & Discuss invites you to join a bi-weekly discussion series where science fiction meets political science.

Each session features a screening of a Star Trek episode followed by a guided group discussion exploring politics, ethics, and society. Discussion themes may include power and governance, ethics, law and diplomacy, technology and society, and identity, justice, and humanity.

The first session will take place on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Douglas Hall, Room 215. (The flyer has B03 on it but we moved it to this other room)

The format will include an episode screening followed by discussion. Refreshments will be provided.

No prior Star Trek knowledge is required, and all are welcome to attend.
