IVAN HILTON SCIENCE BUILDING INFORMATION

Las Vegas, N.M – Book lovers will have a chance to stock up on a wide variety of best sellers, classics and nonfiction at the Donnelly Library used book sale April 16 – 17 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The books are priced to sell at $1 for paperbacks and $2 for hardbacks. On April 17 from 12 – 4 p.m. bargain hunters can fill a bag of books for just $2.

Donnelly Library at Highlands University is at 802 National Ave., adjacent to the Student Union Building. The book sale will be in the library’s first floor lobby.

“We hope the Las Vegas and campus community will stop in and enjoy our selection and support the library,” said Cheryl Zebrowski, a librarian and head of external programs. “The proceeds benefit Donnelly Library’s Foundation account and will help purchase special material outside of the library’s regular budget as well as preservation activities.”

There will also be a raffle for an iPad mini donated by Ebsco Information Services, one of the library’s database vendors. The raffle tickets are $5 each or $10 for three tickets and go on sale at Donnelly on April 13. The winner will be announced in a drawing April 17 at 4 p.m. at the conclusion of the book sale.

The Donnelly book sale coincides with National Library Week. It includes material donated by Highlands University faculty and library staff.
