Highlands University students stand during the singing of the “Star-Spangled Banner” at Fall Convocation 2017, which welcomes freshmen and transfer students to the Highlands family. The convocation ceremony is organized by the university’s Office of Academic Affairs, Office of Academic Support, Dean of Students Office, and Office of Academic Enrichment and Retention. Fall semester began at Highlands Aug. 16.
