When you are admitted to the graduate program you will be assigned to one of the following graduate categories.
Regular Status: is assigned to students who meet all the requirements for admission to the graduate program.
- A 3.0 grade point average
- A Bachelor’s degree in business
- The required background in the area of proposed study
- The required transcripts
- The required test scores and/or any other requirements specified by the School of Business
Provisional Status: Students who lack any of the above stated requirements may be placed in this category. The letter of admission will specify the requirements that must be met before a student can be placed in “regular status". Students will only be allowed to take up to 24 graduate credits in provisional status.
Advance Standing: Students who are within 12 semester credits of receiving their bachelor’s degree may apply for, and be admitted to, a graduate program.This status limits enrollment at the graduate level to nine credits before the student receives the bachelor’s degree and is admitted to the graduate program.
