Donnelly Library Offers Fun, Informative Activities Sept. 17 – 20

Las Vegas, N.M – The Thomas C. Donnelly Library at New Mexico Highlands joins other campus entities in offering a number of fun and informative activities during homecoming week at Highlands. The public is welcome at the free events Sept. 17 – 20.

Tuesday, Sept.  17, 6:00 p.m. – U.S. Constitution Jeopardy Challenge in the Student Center Building, first floor atrium, 800 National Ave.

Wednesday, Sept. 18, 1 p.m. – “The Pushouts” free award-winning PBS film screening and conversation in the Student Center Theater, 800 National Ave. The news story about the film is online here.

Thursday, Sept. 19, 1 – 4 p.m. – Edible Book Festival on the third floor of Donnelly Library, 802 National Ave. There will be voting and prizes for the best entry.

Thursday, Sept.  19 – Friday, Sept. 20, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. – Used book sale on the first floor of Donnelly Library, 802 National Ave. The $2 bag sale will be from 12 to 5 p.m. Friday.
