2023 Summer Bridge Program – Emergence: Nuestra Tierra Quemada

NMHU ARMAS (Achieving in Research, Math, and Science) is thrilled to invite all New Mexico Highlands University community members to join us for our 2023 Summer Bridge Program’s Final Showcase, Emergence: Nuestra Tierra Quemada, on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 3:30 PM in the Engineering Building.
With funding through our STEMfast grant, ARMAS created a Summer Bridge Academy where we asked our students to address the question, “What will be the impact of Climate Change on Communities over the next 50 years? ” Our students will present a museum-like exhibit piece to showcase the content and skills they have learned over the past two weeks.
Our Summer Bridge participants have been dedicated to their academic and personal growth while creating new skills and developing long-lasting passions. The showcase will be a testament to their hard work and the incredible progress they have made with us at ARMAS.
