American Journeys: 21st Century American Fiction: A Reading and Discussion series
Join us @ Donnelly Library for a reading and discussion series led by local scholar Brandon Kempner. This reading group will feature lively discussion of three Pulitzer Prize winning works of fiction.
Thursday, September 11 The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz
Thursday, October 9 Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri
Thursday, November 20 Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides
All discussions will begin at 7 p.m. in Donnelly Library at 802 National Ave. Copies of the books are available from Donnelly Library. Brandon Kempner, associate professor of English at Highlands University, will lead a discussion of the book at each session.
